Nicaragua

Madam President:

We are once again on this stage that claims to represent the Peoples and Governments of the whole World.

Here we bring, as always, the affectionate and combative Greeting of our Heroic Nicaraguan People, who, as we know and say, know of Battles, of Honor, and of the Glory of defending our Principles and Values, our Sovereign Dignity, our Rights and, particularly, the Sacred Right to Be Free and, therefore, to choose our Cultural, Social, Economic and Political Models, to advance against Poverty, in the face of all the challenges of these harsh moments in the History of Humanity.

We present ourselves here once again, proud of our Brotherhoods with Combative, Upright, Decent Peoples, as are all the Peoples of the World, Peoples and Families who defend, safeguard and sustain our Prerogatives and Beliefs, from Cultures and Practices that the Colonialists and Imperialists of the World have wanted to assault and of which they have tried to strip us, without succeeding, and we know they will not succeed.

In these crucial circumstances of Human History the dilemma repeats itself, the eternal duality, the never-resolved conflict between Peace and War, between Life and Death, between the supremacist pretension of annihilating, subjugating and appropriating our Cultures, and our duty to defend our Spiritual, Social and Material Heritage.

These are moments that define us... Either we stand for Peace and Life, or we are cowardly promoters of War, Misery and Death.

For Nicaragua, Blessed and Ever Worthy, Sovereign, Free, there is no dilemma: We are Life, Health, Strength, Fortitude... Life in proud and unvanquished Hope... We are Light and Truth, as our Immortal General Sandino used to say, and we are Conscience and Courage raised up, ready to serve the Sublime and Superior Causes of Humanity; the Supreme Good of All, Concord, Understanding, Comprehension, Fraternity, Coexistence and Cooperation among all, to share the Goods that belong to All.

The Future is made of the Vigor and Glory of our Peoples, who know that To Struggle and To Triumph are synonyms, and that, the Struggle being the Highest of Songs, To Struggle is to create the necessary Victories of the Common Good.

The Human Family demands Respect and Peace. The Human Family demands a Solidary Encounter between Beings who are equal in every sense, and complementary, also in every sense.

The Human Family demands Respect for all the Agreements made 80 years ago, when the United Nations was created, to stop Wars and make firm, lasting Peace, and Justice, a Treasure and a Heritage of All.

The Human Family hopes, trusts, proposes and at the same time demands, requires, Union to achieve the Fullness of Intelligence, Serenity, Wisdom, Calm, and Humility, indispensable for building, no longer for destroying.

We refer to all the issues that are priorities in our Times: Climate Justice, Compensation or Reparations, for those who have suffered and endured the misfortunes and evils generated by the selfishness and greed of Colonialism, Imperialism, Racism and all the abominable and shameful forms of oppression, discrimination, slavery, and denial of our condition and quality as Human Beings.

We denounce and condemn, as Peoples aggrieved by xenophobic discrimination and barbarism, the brutality and complete lack of compassion with which we have been and are treated in Countries whose wealth is built on the plunder and pillage of ours.

We denounce and condemn, together with all the Peoples of the World, the horrifying, hateful and execrable Policies of criminal Economic Blockade, aggressions with Coercive, Arbitrary, Unilateral Measures, and the terrible Migration Policies, which disregard Human Rights, which violate Human Rights and which are a reflection and mirror of the selfishness and contempt of those who believe themselves owners of the World.

Here we denounce and condemn, once again, all the savage, atrocious, incomprehensible abuses, at this stage of Life, that the Imperialist Powers deploy with their economic, cultural and commercial policies, seeking to continue dominating us, and crudely attempting to intimidate us with their stupid weapons and elaborate military apparatus, directed against Peace, in Asia, Africa and Our Latin American-Caribbean America.

We denounce the inhumane Policies against each one of us, in every field... Migration, exclusion; we denounce and condemn the unforgivable and unjustifiable insults and threats, that unacceptable State Terrorism, those Crimes against Humanity that are shamelessly displayed, as the Superior Right of the Imperialists of the Earth.

We denounce and condemn all the insulting and vulgar aggressions, verbal, political, economic, commercial and warmongering affronts, which also constitute Crimes against Humanity, crimes against Security, Tranquility, Justice and Peace, Supreme Goods of our Peoples, which cannot and must not be tampered with or snatched away.

As Revolutionary Siblings in the Great Homeland, Sons and Daughters of Great Our-American Founding Figures, and Protagonists of Victorious Revolutions, we ratify here our full and unequivocal Solidarity and Brotherhood with Cuba and Venezuela. Nicaragua and the Sandinista Popular Revolution identify fully with the Battles, and the indispensable Victories that we are building, from these Lands of Liberty, Dignity and Sovereignty, knowing that We Neither Sell Out, Nor Surrender, Ever!

Here we also denounce and condemn insecurity, both civic and human, the illicit use of implausible pretexts and fallacious, false and outlandish accusations, which are only further interference, threats of further invasions and occupations.

We denounce and condemn the absurd manipulations with wild, far-fetched accusations, from the pretext of drug trafficking, which is a plague and business of the rich Countries, where millions of consumers live, those Powerful Countries that encourage the impoverished into more production and trafficking of substances, trafficking in misery.

We denounce hunger as a weapon of domination, abandonment, malnutrition, disease, the indecorous, immodest and immoral treatment against Families, Women, Youth, Children, the Elderly, who are increasingly seen as a nuisance, and banished from Life, promoting new exterminations.

We reiterate our historic and permanent condemnation of the Genocide, of the barbaric policy of denial of the Palestinian People... We condemn all the savage, brutal massacres that are perpetuated, that are extended, in full view and with the patience of the whole World.

We condemn the State of Israel, just as we have condemned and condemn the policies and practices of the Colonial, Imperial, Neocolonial and Fascist Powers.

We condemn, therefore, the exile of the Good, and all the attacks on Life, Freedoms, Coexistence and Civilization that we believed we had built.

We demand more Policies and Programs for Security, Health, Education, a Life of Dignity... Water, Housing, Technologies, a Tranquil Life in Community, Work and Progress within reach of All, for the Good of All.

On the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the United Nations, let us promote more and more coherence of Human Conscience. We must continue raising Voices, uniting Hands and Hearts, crying out and struggling, demanding and fighting, so that this stage of Life on this Planet that we share, ceases to be marked by death in all its forms, by the kidnapping of the Intelligent Soul, and becomes, instead, Breath, Courage, the Strength of Hope.

We call on ourselves to work in sensitive and sustainable, capable, ingenious and creative union; we call on ourselves to keep walking, convinced, strong, building Unity, building Brotherhood, Affinity, Unity, which is the true Strength, fulfilling the Ever Further Beyond that, as a Deep Spiritual Motto, should be the daily Anthem and Action of each one, and of all.

On the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations we urge ourselves to change the logic, change attitudes, change action, be truly Human, stop repeating and repeating, without results. Unity and Brotherhood must be the Path we take together, with Courage and Pride, so that we continue creating this other World that is already taking shape as another Dawn.
